A thin-skinned, late-ripening grape widely planted in nearly every warm-climate region, Cannonau (Grenache to the French, Garnacha to the Spanish) produces rich, flavourful red wines. The limestone soil of Sardinia infuses this wine with flavours of grilled plum, Italian leather, and dried herbs.

Product Details:

From a northeast-facing vineyard planted in stony limestone soils, this is a lithe, juicy expression with plentiful red and blue fruit, clove, some wild herb, sage and mineral notes. Pair with grilled ribs or mushroom burgers. Drink through 2027.

Product Details

Deep stony citrus aroma with a hint of lime and fresh green fruit. Much more obvious skin-derived texture here than in the 2021 vintage, a fine tannic grip that is a great foil to the fruit and high acidity. A distinctive style with a persistent citrusy/herbal finish, persistent thanks to the texture, more complex and attention-grabbing but not showy. Really long and beautifully crisp without being out of balance. Direct, pure and textured. When to drink: 2024-2028. Score - 17 (out of 20). (Julia Harding, MW, jancisrobinson.com, June 11, 2024)

Bright gold and clear in colour, delicate bouquet, aroma of citrus. Medium acidity, long and pleasant aftertaste. A fine accompaniment to Mediterranean dishes, seafood,  sh, white meat.

Vineyard: North facing in S.E. Attica, 50 years old vines, non-irrigated in limestone soil at an altitude of 100m

Harvest: Mid September

Vinification: Fermentation in stainless-steel tanks, under controlled temperature 16-18oC.
