The Pinot Grigio bright yellow with lightly golden tones. The nose is intense with ripe yellow fruit notes reminiscent of peach and apricot and tending towards an almost tropical fragrance. The fragrant alcoholic notes with nuances of crusty bread and acacia honey. If carefully cellared it will keep well for a few years, underlining its strength and smoothness.

Produced in north-eastern Italy in the region of Friuli results in a crisp and refreshing wine that is pale in colour. The bouquet opens with distinct notes of fresh apple, pear and orange blossom. Light and crisp on the palate with more tree fruit flavours and hints of spice that add balance to a clean zesty finish.
Tasting Note Reductive at first, so give this time to open up. When it does, it reveals dried citrus, daffodils and apricots. Sleek and linear on the palate, where the acidity cuts through fleshy stone fruit and drives this quite long. Drink now. Score - 92. (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, Nov. 7, 2019)
