Anice Caffo was the progenitor of the liqueurs created by the Caffo Brothers at their Limbadi distillery. The excellent original recipe of the Caffo Brothers, involves the use of green anise (pimpinella anisum) and star anise (illicium verum) seed distillate produced in-house by the company in an ancient copper still.
